Bikram Yoga is perfect for beginners and practicing yogis alike. Bikram Yoga is a specific series of postures ("asanas") organized to give you a complete workout in 90 minutes. Your instructor guides the class and explains the postures and corrections to keep you safe and to encourage you to deepen your practice.

Please notify the instructor of any injuries or fears before the class begins.

Here are some guidelines to get your practice started:

  1. No reservations are needed. Simply ARRIVE 20 minutes before the start time of your first class to become oriented with our space.
  2. DRINK water at least 20 minutes before class. Water is available for $1 and Zico Coconut Water, Vitamin Water and Kombucha are available for $2.
  3. Bring a bath-sized TOWEL and YOGA MAT or you may rent a towel and/or mat for $1 each. The towel and mat are FREE with the first class of your $28 Monthly Introduction.
  4. Listen to your instructor and follow their instructions. They have extensive training and have all been certified by Bikram to teach this class series. This class is about the individual and keeping the class together.
  5. Leave your shoes at the main entrance and belongings in the dressing room. The only items allowed in the room are a yoga mat, towel and water bottle. Eventually, with practice, you won't need water in the class at all.
  6. Observe necessary SILENCE in the yoga studio.
  7. Focus on yourself; eliminate your personal distractions. Don’t be distracting to yourself or others.
  8. Water in a sealable container is the only liquid permitted in the room. (Water containing sugar can spill and attract ants.) Prepare your bottle before class. If you must drink water, please drink only between postures. Hydrate adequately before class and you won’t have to drink water in class at all.
  9. Arrive to class on time, don’t leave the room during class and exit after the instructor has left the room.
  10. Enjoy yourself and your practice! Develop goals and discover the amazing benefits you'll receive from practicing Bikram Yoga. This is an intense workout but it's not grim. You'll be amazed how you feel after just a few classes. If you need a testimonial, ask anyone or read a few testimonials online. It's not hard; it's intense!
