Bikram Yoga Austin LLC was opened in January 2001 and is independently owned and operated and goes by the name "Yogagroove." Yogagroove is permanently located in approximately 3,000 square feet of space with dressing rooms for men and women, 2 rest rooms and a shower. Yogagroove offers 37 Bikram Yoga classes a week. All teachers are Bikram Certified and Bikram Yoga is and has always been the only yoga form taught at Yogagroove.
Our emphasis is on teaching Bikram Yoga the way we were taught with:
- abundant class offerings
- an encouraging environment for beginners
- a warm and welcoming, funky-cool-groovy atmosphere
- verbal, non-judgemental corrections allowing you to learn the postures
- challenges and discipline to help you heal yourself and succeed
Our yoga room provides a healing and safe environment for practicing yoga:
- a fresh air heating system
- indirect lighting
- spacious 24 foot ceiling height
Yogagroove sells yoga mats, water, raw chocolate, organic energy bars, Bikram Books and CD's and has registered massage therapists available by appointment for Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Shiatsu sessions. Our rental towels are cleaned environmentally safe and are soft and fresh.
